Cellphone Policy

At Taumarunui Primary School, cell phones are not permitted during school hours. If students need to bring a cell phone to school, they must hand it into the office or their teacher upon arrival. The cell phone will be securely locked away and returned at the end of the school day.

If a student fails to hand in their cellphone, it will be confiscated. The cell phone can only be retrieved by a parent or caregiver.
