Taumarunui Primary School is situated on the main street of Taumarunui, at the southern end of the the town center. Taumarunui Primary School, with a roll of approximately 156 students, is a full primary school for students from Years 0-8.
We currently have 8 classrooms. We have specialised teachers for Music, Art and Technology along with a Leap programme run weekly for 4 year old students every Wednesday afternoon.
At Taumarunui Primary School we also run an Outdoor Academy Programme for our Year 6-8 students where they have the opportunity to experience the great outdoors. Our values underpin all that we do and are actively taught in each class across the school.
